An unedited and LIVE recording (10-4-08) of Alona (www.noodlesoflove.com, San Francisco) and myself layin down a slammin,funky and oh so lovely,new and classic deep electro funk disco set. We did it tag team style and had a blast doing it! and it was our first time! never played together so it is what it is....
This mix was the last hour plus of our set as we warmed up the crowded dance floor at Smartbeat Sound Systems "Mas Disco" party in Oakland with the legendary music man DJ HARVEY. Check it out. The word is love.

Lush but not too lounge , electric and spacey but still crunk gritty, slow and mid tempo "new disco" sounds... put it on after hours, chillin and blazin, rollin with your friends...Peep it slow dancing in the living room,in the car on the way home from a dope party while wonder who's house you're all going to wreck with love and tenderness when you get there.
NOTE: Shiz was mixed and recorded live,once, on a whim.... just for you.

Woke up bored on a Sunday, fire to the spliff then free styled this mix in my boxer pj's... nothing was planned other than the 1st track...
It starts out mellow then goes in to some heavy disco rock vibes (old and new) from the Motels and Stranglers to Free Blood and Todd Terje, Woolfy etc... complete with Yogi Hindu chants and sea shore sound effects. Really it does...cheesy yet sleazy, just like me. Also, it wasn't mixed to a tee, one of my turns busted so I was choppin limes and slammin Modelo's in between songs so don't hate.
